Why it happens
- The application identifier is wrong or points to a deleted or missing app registration.
- The request is being sent to the wrong tenant.
- The app has not been provisioned in the directory being targeted.
How to fix it
- Confirm the application client ID and tenant used by the request.
- Check that the app registration exists in the intended Microsoft Entra tenant.
- If this is a multitenant scenario, verify that the app is available and consented in the target tenant.
