Why it happens
- The downloaded installation or update file is damaged or incomplete.
- The device cannot connect to Adobe's servers due to a weak or restricted network.
- A firewall is blocking the Creative Cloud desktop app from accessing the internet.
- Antivirus software is interfering with the download or installation process.
How to fix it
- Verify that the device has an active internet connection, then select Retry in the Creative Cloud app.
- Switch to a different network (e.g., wired instead of Wi-Fi) if available.
- Review router or access point settings and ensure Adobe software and services are not blocked.
- If prompted by a firewall, allow the Creative Cloud desktop app to access the internet. If not prompted, temporarily disable the firewall and retry.
- Temporarily disable antivirus software and retry the installation.
- In an enterprise environment, contact IT to configure firewall settings to allow Adobe traffic.
