Adobe Creative Cloud installation failed with Error 14
Error code: 14
The gccustomhook.exe process was unable to start the Adobe Genuine Service (AGS) after it had been successfully installed. This can happen if the AGS is blocked, if its files are corrupted, or if there is a conflict with an older version already on the system.
The Adobe Genuine Service was successfully installed but the gccustomhook.exe process could not start it.
A conflicting older version of the Adobe Genuine Service is preventing the new service from starting.
The Adobe Genuine Service is being blocked by security software.
How to fix it
Restart the computer — the restart will automatically start the newly installed Adobe Genuine Service.
If the issue persists, close all Adobe apps and background processes, delete the AdobeGCClient folder (Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AdobeGCClient; macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AdobeGCClient), and relaunch the Creative Cloud desktop app.
When prompted by the Adobe Genuine Service consent dialog, select Accept or Deny according to your preference.
